ABC Teachers are looking to recruit an experienced KS2 Teacher to work in a ‘Good’ school located in Stourbridge. This role is part-time and is due to start after February half-term until July 2019 to cover SLT time. This role is for 3 days a week, the other days will be covered by an internal member of staff. The school would like the candidate to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, however would consider changing this for the right person. The school is ideally looking for a qualified teacher that has vast experience within KS2, who can pick up the role quickly and efficiently. You will need to be hardworking, passionate and caring to be the perfect candidate. 

The role in question is a 3 day a week job share; this means that planning, marking and assessing are shared between both teachers. The school will give you PPA time within the 3 days to make sure that there is not a high amount of work to be taken home. Along with this, parents evening and 1 staff meeting will need to be attended. The school is keen to make sure that every staff member enjoys their time at school; therefore they have a very creative and fun environment.

The ideal candidate will-

• KS2 Specialist- a minimum of 2 years’ experience

• Be able to provide 2 educational references

• Willing to commit to the entirety of the role

• Up to date knowledge on the national curriculum

• Qualified teacher status- NQTs are welcome to apply

Located in Stourbridge, this makes it the ideal role for teachers located in the surrounding areas including Dudley, Wolverhampton and Kidderminster. The school in question is not far from the M5 and M6 and also has frequent public transport for those who do not drive.
