Vinehall School seeks to appoint a part-time (0.5) specialist music teacher to work in the Pre-Prep school with children in Nursery, Kindergarten, Reception, Years 1 and 2, plus additional musical activities with Years 3, 4 and 5 in the Prep School.  Applicants should be highly creative, adaptable and enthusiastic, and be able to demonstrate a passion for instilling a love of music in very young children.  The successful applicant will join a highly professional music department with an outstanding musical tradition.

Vinehall is a co-educational day and boarding preparatory school for children aged 2 to 13.  The school upholds high standards of academic achievement as well as a full range of co-curricular opportunities.  It is a vibrant and busy school with high expectations all round.  In the most recent inspection in 2018, Vinehall was rated as ‘Excellent’ both academically and pastorally.

Vinehall is a co-educational day and boarding school for children aged between 2 and 13. We enjoy wonderful views across the Sussex countryside in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as an impressive array of facilities.

Boarding is ‘full’ rather than on a weekly basis although there are regular exeat weekend breaks and boarders may go out for special occasions.

People are the most important factor in a child’s education and Vinehall’s teachers and support staff work together to ensure the best possible provision for every child. From lessons to sport, the creative arts to meals, our children benefit from the best there is. The children and parents speak very highly of their teachers.

Vinehall has an outstanding academic record and sends children to a large number of senior schools, including the best public schools in the country. We are proud of our scholarship record and parents agree that the teaching and learning at Vinehall is excellent.
