Part Time PE Teacher

This is an opportunity for an experienced PE teacher to play a key role in one of the UK’s most successful prep schools.

You will join a thriving and experienced team in a high achieving department and be responsible for inspiring all ages and abilities with a love of physical education, sport and fitness. At Kensington Prep we ensure sport is fun and help the girls to stay fit and healthy. The range of lessons on offer caters for both the budding sportswoman and the more sports shy, giving girls a wide choice of sports and activities that they can choose to continue on leaving school.

You will play a key role in providing an excellent education by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm and offering support to the learning of individual students, whether they are participating as part of the curriculum, enjoying our sport for all approach in co-curricular clubs or one of our more gifted sports women competing for the school.

There are fantastic facilities for sport and PE with two floodlit all weather netball and tennis courts, a gym and a dance/drama studio. Girls can take part in a huge range of activities. In the early years, girls have three PE lessons a week with gym, dance, games, athletics and tennis skills and there are swimming lessons from Year 2 at Fulham Pools. The PE department also offers an extensive range of sports clubs with specialist coaches and squad opportunities for the older girls.
