Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to work with students with a diverse range of needs including physical disabilities and autism. You will be required to work in special needs schools across Trafford, which can be on a flexible basis.


The role


The desired Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be a positive, enthusiastic person who will be able to support students with additional needs including autism within the classroom. This may include working on a 1:1 basis or within small groups and could include personal care.

This is a great opportunity to work in a variety of schools in Trafford that are well established and inclusive for students that can range from EYFS to Post 16. You will be able to work within committed teams who provide supportive and nurturing environments for all students. The successful Special Needs Teaching Assistant will be confident in supporting children with learning difficulties including autism.


Requirements


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the position of Special Needs Teaching Assistant are:


Have a minimum of 6 weeks experience

Have a desire to work in SEND

Have a caring, positive and flexible attitude
