The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for 11 – 18 year olds, set in 200 acres of Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

FULL OR PART TIME TEACHER OF HISTORY (one year fixed term)

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our History and Politics Department with effect from January 2021, initially for a one-year fixed term contract.  

It is expected that the appointee will be an excellent classroom practitioner who has the ability to motivate and inspire students whilst developing a love of learning.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach history to pupils in in key stage 3 and 4, with the possibility of A Level History or Politics teaching. It is anticipated that the role will be between 0.5FTE and full time, depending on the desires of the successful candidate and their flexibility over our working week.  

Candidates will have the energy and enthusiasm required to commit to a large boarding and day school.
