We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative Pastoral and Behaviour Officer to join our growing, dynamic and supportive school. We are looking for an individual who will take responsibility for the pastoral welfare of a designated group of students and ensure effective communication with their parents/carers to engage them as key stakeholders in their child’s educational experience. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting with behaviour and attendance in school, establishing productive working relationships with students and acting as a role model. As well as working with students in inclusion and supporting those who present with challenging behaviour, you will also be given responsibility for a specific year group, dealing with any pastoral issues they may have. As part of the role you will also be trained in child protection and will become a designated safeguarding officer working with a highly trained team of colleagues to support student needs at Horsforth School.
