The salary for this post is paid on the Sixth Form College Teacher’s main scale, with an additional allowance of £4500 (inclusive of London Weighting).

We are seeking applications for an excellent Pastoral Manager (Head of Year), with a PE specialism, to join an exciting and rapidly improving College. You will be responsible for the Pastoral Care and academic progress across a division of around 200 students.  In addition, you will be required to undertake some teaching in the Physical Education Department.  

The Physical Education Department prides itself on high standards and the expectations it has of all of our students. The team work closely, sharing ideas and strategies, to deliver a wide range of courses and provide a comprehensive programme for all students.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

The courses currently being delivered by the subject area are: A level Physical Education [EDUQAS], BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport and Excellence and BTEC Level 2 in Sport.  

The subject area is committed to providing extensive opportunities for all students to participate in sport at all levels. It is expected that new appointments would be fully committed to extracurricular sports classes and enrichment activities. The college runs several sports teams that compete at all levels of competition, from local to national.
