Lord Derby Academy is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic person to join our school and to work within the Student Support Team.       

Pastoral Officer  

36 hours per week  

9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Thursday  

9.40am-5.00pm Friday  

Term time plus 5 INSET days  Salary – Band H, Point 29-31 £26,470-£28,221 per annum pro rata.  

To commence as soon as possible

The post holder will provide a service to existing leaders, teachers and pastoral staff in school, addressing the safeguarding needs of children, in order to achieve their full potential. The post holder will promote optimum pupil performance and achievement by supporting pupils' welfare and safeguarding procedures in the school.  The post holder will join an established team which received positive feedback in the school’s last Ofsted inspection.
