Governors are inviting applications for the above post. The successful applicant will be professional, adaptable, and dedicated to providing a high level of Pastoral support to a range of students across the school community. They will have strong communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative. They will be able to demonstrate consistently the positive attitudes, values and behaviour which are expected of students and establish a safe and supportive environment within the Pastoral Support room which is rooted in mutual respect. They will play an integral part in the day to day pastoral support at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with regards to student behaviour and welfare.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their experience of a similar role and their suitability to working within a busy secondary school environment. GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in Maths, English and Science are essential. Relevant professional qualifications are desirable.
