Salary:  Grade LBR 4 – Gross annual salary £17,055 

Hours: 35 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday term time only

Downshall Primary School is a successful school serving a diverse social and ethnic community.

Our new Pastoral Support Team Mentor will have:

· Experience of Pastoral support  with children of relevant age;

· Good understanding of child development and learning processes;

· Ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these;

· Excellent interpersonal skill and the ability to support anxious pupils and parents at challenging times;

· Ability to work well as part of a team;

· Be a graduate.

Initially the post will be offered on a fixed term contract until July 2019 subject to annual review.
