Job overview

This is a new role and we are looking for a suitable candidate to join the support staff team. As Patrol Officer/School Staff Instructor (SSI) you will play a key role in supporting behaviour management within the academy and will provide liaison between the British Army infrastructure, including the Cadet Training Team (CTI) and the academy.

The role has dual responsibilities and you will work as Patrol Officer for 3 days per week and School Instructor for 2 days per week. The successful candidate will be a Senior Non Commissioned Officer (SNCO) with military background. Whilst experience of working with children or young people in a school environment is desirable, it is not essential.

You will be someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  You will have the ability to work as part of a team, but also able to take the initiative.  You will relish the unexpected and have a flexible approach.

If you are a talented professional with passion, commitment and resilience, and if you are driven to make a difference to the lives and futures of young people, we would like to hear from you. Please contact Sarfraz Akram, Director of Behaviour, Ethos and Culture, for more information on 01908 341700 or email us at careers@miltonkeynesacademy.co.uk

Further details and an application form can be found on our website at www.miltonkeynesacademy.co.uk
