Job overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sports Coach/Cover Supervisor to join our school.  Experience is not necessary, and this would be an excellent path for someone who is looking to start a career in teaching in the future.   

The purpose of this role is to further enhance the school’s games and sports teaching.   The successful applicant will make a positive impact on the PE department’s intent to ensure lessons are inspiring, challenging and empowering.

When required, the successful applicant will also work as a Cover Supervisor to supervise students to complete pre-set work in the absence of a teacher, creating and maintaining a purposeful learning environment.  

We are a successful and high-achieving upper school based in a unique location, in the heart of rural Bedfordshire, with excellent transport links.  We are situated one mile from the M1 and within walking distance to a train station with routes to London and the Midlands.

Term time only (plus 5 training days)
