Tes is supporting the appointment of an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified teacher to join a highly successful PE department at an independent school based in Buckinghamshire. The right candidate will have a commitment to first-class teaching of PE and Swimming across the school (Nursery to Year 6). They will be able to lead Netball at Key Stage 2 as the main competitive team sport and have the ability to introduce and lead the development of Cricket as a part of the summer programme. They will also be expected to take an active part in all areas of school life as part of the role. It is likely that the successful candidate will also be assigned as a Form Teacher in KS2.
This is a leading girls’ preparatory school with an excellent sporting reputation, strong academic reputation and outstanding pastoral care. There are two forms in each year group and class sizes are small. A state of the art indoor, heated swimming pool was opened in 2009 and there are facilities onsite for the teaching of a range of sports.
