The  Swiss International School of Qatar is seeking a dynamic PE / PHE Teacher for September 2019. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the founding team of educators that is establishing the IB MYP and DP at SISQ. 

SISQ will be a full IB school and has the ambition of becoming one of the leading educational institutions in the region.

The successful candidate will have the following essential qualities:

  • Ability to cope in a start-up environment 
  • Strong subject knowledge, preferably with a degree in Sports Science or related discipline
  • Extensive curriculum-writing skills and experience 
  • Willingness to help run the after-school sports programmes
  • A collaborative style and a good sense of humour 
  • A commitment to continuous improvement 
  • A commitment to student learning and safeguarding  

The following qualities would be an advantage: 

  • Experience in IB MYP and/or DP
  • Experience in an international setting

Swiss International School opened its doors in 2017 with an initial enrollment of 300 students from PK to grade 8. As Qatar's fastest growing school, SISQ now enrolls 800 students and offers a full IBDP program. We are slated for further growth and expect to reach an enrollment of 1,400 over the next few years.
