Our small and friendly team are looking for an experienced and flexible PE Teacher (girls), to support our students across KS3 – KS5 on Thursday afternoons on a fixed term contract until July 2019. For the right candidate, there may be opportunities for a permanent position at the end of the contract. This an ideal opportunity for someone looking to increase their workload, or to gain experience in a unique and innovative teaching environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating a climate for learning that is conducive for excellent practice

• Identifying clear teaching and learning objectives 

• Differentiating to provide support for students with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and challenge for those who are gifted and talented

• Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest

• Developing approaches to Self-Directed Learning and use technology to support learning

• Use assessment data to inform lesson planning 

• Using a variety of teaching strategies to motivate and challenge students, and ensure high levels of interest

• Produce reports for parents in line with the school calendar

• Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work

• Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and set an outstanding example to stakeholders through personal and professional conduct

You will:

• Possess recent experience of working in a school teaching PE to KS3 – KS5

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE and the GCSE PE examinations’ syllabus specifications

• Be an inspiring, engaging and effective communicator

• Enjoy being part of a supportive team

• Be caring and enthusiastic

• Respect the school’s Ethos and Values

About OneSchool Global UK Kenley Campus

OneSchool Global UK Kenley Campus was established in newly built premises in 2005 in Carshalton. The Senior School has now relocated to the newly refurbished premises in Kenley, due to continual expansion over the years. Since inception, the school has pursued a programme of continual development and improvement, resulting in a well-proven centre of educational achievement. It has a strong Christian ethos. As a registered school and exam centre, it gives students the opportunity to fulfil their potential with a high standard of learning being reflected in nationally accredited exam results.
