International School Brunei requires an experienced teacher to join the successful PE team. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic department focussed on the highest possible standards of teaching and learning. The post includes responsibility for our whole school ECA programme.
Established in 1964, International School Brunei (ISB) has over 50 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. Core PE is a fundamental part of the ISB learning experience. Students from reception onward receive two hours of PE and swimming per week and there are a wide range of extra-curricular activities and clubs for students to take part in, including participation in inter-house competitions, local leagues and cups and international FOBISIA games.
All staff are expected to offer an ECA activity at least once per week — so our ECA programme for students in reception to Year 13 is an integral part of the ISB experience. It is large in scope, scale and variety—including sports, cultural, creative and academic enrichment opportunities. As the head of ECAs the successful candidate will have strategic and operational responsibility forf the programme and will be responsible for ensuring its continued quality and success.
