Wollaston School is a large, over-subscribed, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes’ drive from Northampton. Our student intake draws on a number of nearby villages and we have over 1400 students on roll, with approximately 280 students in the Sixth Form.

Required for immediate start

NCC Support Staff Pay Scale, Grade B, points 6-8, £14,059 to £14,258pa.

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (38 weeks term-time & 5 training days)

Mon-Thurs: 8.30 am – 4:30 pm (including: 30 minutes lunch)

Fri: 8.30 am – 4:00 pm

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic PE Technician to join our PE Faculty. The successful candidate must have a passion for sport and desire to coach and mentor young people in a school sporting environment. The candidate must be a highly self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team with outstanding organisational skills. The candidate will need to be flexible to support internal and external sports fixtures. 

MIDAS training and a coaching qualification would be advantageous. This position would also suit someone looking for a route into Teacher Training.

The school is over-subscribed. Wollaston School was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2023.
