We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed member of staff with vision, drive, flexibility and motivation to join us. You will be suitably qualified and experienced to support all academy productions. You will also be involved with advising staff and students on the use of the technical facilities, and coordinating a host of sound and visual resources.

This role will be based within the creative centre of the academy - the Music and Drama departments - and have access to and the use of a Mac suite, a 250 seat theatre, 2x drama studio spaces, rehearsal spaces, recording studio, lighting suite and dance studio. Your expertise will not only support the staff within these departments but you will also work alongside and provide support to the students studying the relevant subjects too.
Applicants should have relevant work experience and good technical understanding of sound and lighting equipment along with being able to undertake a range of technical support activities. Experience of audio and video editing and knowledge and application of the use of Macs would also be desirable. The successful candidate must be prepared to work flexibly as occasional unsocial hours may be required due to productions during term-time.
