Full time or part time (Term time only + 5 days)

We are looking for an organised and dynamic technician, with genuine passion for Performing Arts, to join the ‘Technician Team of the Year 2022’ at Sutton High School, a selective, independent school for 850 girls, aged 3-18. 

The working hours are 18 hours per week, Term Time Only. There will be evening and weekend work to cover school events, such as productions and concerts and a willingness to work evenings and weekends is essential. 

You will be responsible for providing high quality technical support for drama, music and dance performances.

The position requires a good knowledge of stage lighting and sound technology, so you must have either training or experience of performance lighting and sound and you will be comfortable working at height. The successful candidate will be dealing with a wide variety of people at all levels, so candidates must be effective communicators, with strong interpersonal skills, flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to work as part of a team.
