Kajonkiet International School, Phuket (KIS) is a co-educational day school for children aged 2-18 years. The school which is situated within 52 rai of spectacular Kathu countryside follows the National Curriculum for England. 

With ambitions to become one of the region’s top-performing schools providing an exhilarating international education, we are seeking to appoint outstanding specialist teachers for the Academic Year 2019/20, who would like to be part of this exciting project. Fully-qualified teachers with a pioneering spirit, who have energy, enthusiasm and full commitment to the profession are invited to apply. This is an opportunity for an aspirational teacher to further extend the exceptional profile of the school and continue the outstanding examination success achieved to date.

Applications should be sent by e-mail to The Principal (recruitment@kisp.academy) and should include a letter of application, a curriculum vitae including a recent photograph and the contact details of at least three referees (one of which must be your most recent Head of School). Only shortlisted applications will be acknowledged. 


Applicants with experience in teaching Physics and general science, to the full age range, including IGCSE and A level, are encouraged to apply. Evidence of previous school management experience will be a distinct advantage for candidates interested in the Head of Department position. 


The closing date for applications is Friday 22 February 2019, although interested teachers are encouraged to submit applications as soon as possible as, if an ideal applicant is identified we may appoint immediately. Initial interviews will be conducted by Skype commencing, week beginning Monday 25 February (or sooner).

Kajonkiet International School Phuket (KIS) opened in March 2011. We are a private co-educational international school using the National Curriculum for England and Wales (British Curriculum). We currently accept children from 2-18 years of age and from both the international and Thai communities. We have a great mix of nationalities and we are very proud of our small but strong community.
