We are looking for a well qualified, energetic, and dynamic plumbing teacher to join our excellent, well established and rapidly growing Construction department. We are particularly interested to hear from applicants with gas specific experience/qualifications, preferably to Level 3.
The successful candidate will prepare and deliver classes and assessment activity to learners across a range of full, part time and apprenticeship programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3. Experience within the plumbing industry is essential. Familiarity with requirements of awarding bodies in the education sector would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will hold or be working towards a professional teaching qualification and have delivery experience and a genuine passion to deliver practical and theoretical sessions as well as providing pastoral support and inspiration to our learners.
Applicants should ideally have a qualification in a plumbing related subject to Level 3 (Gas level 3 would be a distinct advantage) Experience with internal verification and the delivery of Maths and/or English, would also be an advantage.
