Post 16 Post Entry Level Programme for Students with moderate learning difficulties.


We are looking for a Post 16 Learning Support Assistant to work closely with young people in Cheam PEP Group supporting them in their school life.  


Cheam PEP is part of Cheam High School Sixth Form.


It is for students:


• with an Education Health and Care Plan whose needs fall within the range of moderate learning (MLD)

• between the ages of 16 and 19

• who need a stepping stone between school and college

Salary: CAN scale point 14 (£22,027 FTE, £18,833 actual pro-rata salary) for 36 hours per week, term time plus 7 days (195 working days per annum). 


The hours of work are between 8.15am - 4.00pm most days, though there will be occasions when you will be asked to start earlier than this time in order to support travel training events.  The day will finish at 4pm.
