Avenue Primary Academy is looking for hard working, enthusiastic Premises Assistant to work in our small team of premises staff to ensure that our Academy is a clean, healthy and safe place for all our pupils, staff and visitors.
This is a full time post – 36 Hours per week. The school is open from 7:00am to 18:30 with occasional lettings in the evening and some weekends for which overtime is paid.
Avenue is a large primary school with a Nursery and ASD Opportunity Base. The school has over 1000 pupils, aged 3 to 11, and 120 staff. As a teaching school we value the importance of continuing professional development and our staff continue to develop and learn new skills. There are also opportunities for career progression within the Trust.
By having a team of site staff most work can be completed in house so you will be involved not just with the day to day needs of the school but also small projects after school hours and in the holidays such as decorating, carpentry, landscaping and minor building works.

About Avenue Primary Academy
Avenue Primary Academy is a very popular school for parents, situated near the A217 in Sutton and within easy reach of the M25. The academy is in Belmont village and is considered to be the 'local' school. The academy recently expanded from three to four form entry with three five-form 'bulge' year groups, and had 992 pupils currently on roll.
An SEN Opportunity Base for ASD opened in September 2016 for up to 10 children.
Avenue is a Teaching School within the Sutton Primary School Teaching Alliance, and staff at the academy benefit from this as both recipients and providers, creating additional career opportunities. As a National Support School, staff at the academy support in other schools across the country.
Cirrus Primary Academy Trust was established when the school converted to an academy in September 2015, and a second school joins the trust in January 2017 as a sponsored academy.
