Portland Place School is a leading independent co-educational day school for children aged 9-18, located directly in the heart of the City of Westminster. It was founded with a particular purpose in mind: to be an alternative to the intense, large, examination focused independent day schools of which there are many in London.  

Portland Place School is based in the heart of Central London and is split across three main sites. The flagship building has Grade II listed status. Facilities Management consists of a small and dedicated site team that sit within the support staff structure. The Premises Manager is responsible for (but not limited to) the upkeep of three main sites, management of staff and the security of all buildings. The school is looking for a co-ordinated, pro-active and highly skilled Premises Manager. The post is full time, permanent starting from September 2018 or sooner. The salary is between £30,000-35,000.00 per annum depending on experience.   

The successful applicant will be able to pro-actively engage with the management of three school sites, communicate effectively and work in a pressurised environment with multiple deadlines.

Portland Place is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational school for students aged 10-16, situated in central London. It is an independent school with a total of around 230 pupils. Portland Place School offers both traditional day school and hybrid school entry.

Portland Place was founded in 1996 at its present site. The Headmaster is Mr David Bradbury.
