Primary Class Teacher

On behalf of our children, we are very excited to announce an opportunity to permanently join our teaching team. The Lantern Community Primary School is a young, forward thinking school located in the historic City of Ely, a short train ride from Cambridge. Opened in 2004, The Lantern is very popular, which has led to it being oversubscribed. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, positive school. Rated ‘good’ at our most recent OfSTED in October 2017, we are looking to recruit an excellent teacher to join our team within the supportive and successful Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust, to help us deliver a creative, stretching curriculum that meets the demands of 2021 and beyond.
This post would be suitable for an NQT or an RQT.
What we offer you:
· A chance to shape an exciting curriculum for the future
· Working in a successful and established team
· Further professional development opportunities
· Friendly staff, well-behaved children and supportive parents.
The successful applicant will need:
· Excellent classroom practice
· Strong team ethics
· A commitment to improving standards
· Positive relationships with children, parents and staff
· Dedication to the school.
If this is you, we look forward to hearing from you!
