A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to plan, deliver and evaluate stimulating and creative learning experiences within a brand new school. King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO) are seeking a class teacher who can inspire, challenge and motivate children and staff. The successful candidate will be an organised and creative teacher with the skills to make learning both challenging and fun. You will be committed to achieving high standards and a team player with a sense of humour.
KAB opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 Year 7 students and will grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18. The primary phase at KAB (2 FE), and KAO, a brand new 1 FE primary school a mile away, open in September 2019 with nursery and YR in KAB and YR, 1 and 2 in KAO. They will also then grow year on year. KAO will be run as an intrinsic part of KAB with both schools sharing the same values, curriculum, opportunities and expectations of excellence.
The successful candidate should be an excellent classroom teacher who will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.
