Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form Centre are situated in picturesque Derbyshire, close to the towns of Matlock, Belper and Wirksworth.

We provide specialist education, therapy and care for children and young people aged 5 – 19 years, with speech, language and communication needs and/or Aspergers Syndrome and/or Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

Due to increasing numbers of Young People seeking our excellent provision we have a rare opportunity to join one of the country’s largest Special Schools for young people with a diagnosis of Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome and Speech and Language Disorders. The school is located in Derbyshire.

The successful candidate will work within a small but experienced teaching staff team, supported by a large and dedicated TA team. There will also be an expectation to work alongside a team of dedicated and highly specialised Speech and Language and Occupational Therapists. This whole team approach is key to our excellent provision. Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form are based in Derbyshire. We are close to the towns of Matlock, Belper and Wirksworth.

Alderwasley Hall School and Sixth Form provides exceptional education for day and residential students aged 5 to 20. We transform the lives of young people with High-Functioning ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), Asperger’s Syndrome, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Developmental Language Disorder. We’re also highly experienced in meeting associated diagnoses and needs, such as Selective Mutism, anxieties and phobias.
