About ISR International School on the Rhine

ISR International School on the Rhine is a co-educational international school located in the Rhineland region of Germany. The school provides places to around 1040 students aged 3-18, and occupies a large single campus. The curriculum at ISR has a primarily international focus, with a strong German theme. Younger students in the school’s Primary and Lower Secondary schools receive an international education, with a particular focus on English and German-language instruction; the school blends the Cambridge curriculum with selected aspects of other international curricula to ensure a holistic education. When students move into Upper Secondary, they will begin their journey toward IGCSE examinations. Older students can spend their final two years at ISR studying for the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Students are given extensive support from dedicated staff as to their options upon leaving school, be it employment or higher education, with the school working hard to ensure they meet the entrance criteria for a huge range of international universities.
