Primary School Teacher

We are seeking to recruit a qualified primary teacher able to teach through KS1 / KS2. Successful candidates should be native English speakers and willing to join a dynamic, open-minded team. Candidates should be located within easy reach of Compiègne (60200). English teachers in Open World share their class with the French teacher and thus work in a teaching partnership: the French teacher mainly teaches French, mathematics, and history whereas the English teacher teaches English, science, art, geography.

Preferred Qualifications and Personal Skills

• Fully qualified primary teacher  
• Experience of teaching Cambridge curriculum and Cambridge English Language exams (YLE)
• Commitment to holistic, student-centred and inquiry-based learning
• Creativity, positive attitude and well-developed communication skills
• A strong team player, willing to involve him/herself in the school’s life
• Excellent classroom practices 
• Experienced and comfortable teaching in a cross-cultural environment
• Confident in the ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best
• Ability to teach across a range of levels
• Valid working papers to work in France
• The position includes ESL and First Language classes
