About the School 

IPS (International Preparatory School) is a beautiful, child-centred British school of approximately 300 children located in Cascais near Lisbon. Portugal. IPS is about to celebrate the 40 year anniversary since its inception. Over the years, the school has built a warm and supportive community with a focus on a holistic education, developing personal attitudes and attributes while striving for continually high standards. These are exciting times for the school as we are enhancing our facilities on our Primary Site and expanding into Secondary from September 2022 at a new location just over a kilometre away.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Primary class teacher who is passionate about the education of young children. Candidates should have experience of teaching the National Curriculum for England and should be positive and creative.
