Primary Teacher – Arnhem Land
Our client school is a Birth to Year 12 government school located in North East Arnhem Land. The school is situated in an idyllic, culturally rich Indigenous community, approximately 500 km east of Darwin. The school is English speaking and caters for 300 students from Pre-School to Year 12. The school offers competitive remuneration for its staff and assists with living expenses and relocation costs. The school seeks a lower primary up to middle years as a release teacher and open to all specialties.
About the Role:
- Contract: 20 April to 26 June 2020
- Fixed Term role with view to potentially continue
- Teacher 1: Early Childhood Teacher (Years 1-2)
- Teacher 2: Primary (Years 6-7)
- Candidates must be qualified in early years/primary
- Free Housing provided – furnished
- Start of Contract: Flights from point of origin to Darwin then on to the school
- End of Contract: Flight to return teachers to Darwin
- Electricity and Water provided
- Teachers will need to supply own communications (only provider is Telstra)
