Primary Teacher - ICS City Centre

About the Position

Due to internal promotions, we are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic primary teachers to join our growing team from August 2022. We present an exciting opportunity to join a growing school where staff are allowed to develop their pupils' love of learning. We are looking for teachers across our primary school in both KS1 and 2.

As a class teacher you will have responsibility for teaching the majority of the English National curriculum subjects to a class of up to 30 children, as well as for their social and emotional well being. You will work as part of a wider team, sharing the planning, and supporting each other in your daily roles.

A generous amount of release time is provided to enable excellent planning and assessment to occur during the school day. Weekly meetings ensure continuous professional development and time to engage with peer led learning.

The successful applicants will have the following attributes:    

• A certified teaching qualification and an accompanying degree such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specializing in Primary Years    
• At minimum 2 years of recent and demonstrable Primary Years teaching experience at a British Curriculum School    
• Confidence in teaching the NCfE Primary framework    
• The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning    
• Knowledge of Google classrooms, google drive and the associated programs would be desirable  
• A passion for extra curricular activities would also be an additional benefit

About ICS City Centre (Branch 1)

We are an English Curriculum School centrally located in the heart of Abu Dhabi Island. Branch 1 is entering into its 9th year. We began as a Primary school and are expanding into a five form entry through school, adding Secondary year groups one year at a time. Year 12 will be added for August 2022 and will be the first cohort to sit for the A-Level syllabus.
