Primary Teacher

Brains International Schools has been established for over 30 years providing quality education for children aged 1 year to 18 years. Ours is a school which prides itself on innovation, technology, sports and languages. Located in Madrid, Spain, we currently seek fluent English speaking teachers for Foundation, Infant and Primary positions for the academic year 2017/18.

The Foundation and Infant stages of the school follow an international methodology entirely in English, based on the British Curriculum. The methodology within the Primary stage of the school focuses project based learning, following the Spanish curriculum.

All applicants should be :

• Fluent English speaking
• Fully qualified in Foundation, Infant or Primary education from a recognised body, preferably with NQT status

A knowledge of project based learning, experience in PYP world schools, the use of technology in the classroom, the ability to work as part of a large team as well as willingness to demonstrate versatility and positivity are highly valued attributes in our school.

A knowledge of Spanish will be seen as advantageous but certainly not necessary. We are ideally looking for mature professionals who plan to remain in Madrid from medium to long term.
