In partnership with the Archdiocese of Birmingham, the Board of Directors of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy wish to appoint a permanent Principal from September 2019. The successful candidate will be a practising Catholic and will have sufficient expertise, energy and enthusiasm to sustain the unique identity of our school, its high academic standards, and our Catholic life and ethos.

St Augustine’s Catholic High School and Sixth Form Centre is a high achieving and heavily over-subscribed Catholic school situated in Redditch, Worcestershire. It is one of four schools in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi Academy which was established in 2014; the schools have fostered a close and collaborative working relationship and offer a rich and seamless transition of education from age 4 to 19.

Our 2018 results improved upon our 2017 results which at the time were our best ever; we are subsequently one of the highest performing schools in the Midlands and the top performing Catholic School outside of London. We were awarded Outstanding in all categories in the OFSTED inspection (2017) and in March 2019, have likewise been awarded Outstanding in all categories within Section 48.

Saint Augustine’s Catholic High School was established in 1974 by the Archdiocese of Birmingham to serve the needs of Catholic families living in Redditch, Bromsgrove  (North Worcestershire) and the surrounding areas and families of all beliefs.  We pride ourselves on being a Catholic school for all, where emphasis is placed on achieving personal and academic excellence for all students.

Saint Augustine’s is part of Our Lady of the Magnificat Catholic Multi Academy Company.
