Principal Teacher/Leader of Science required to join a fantastic Academy based in Leeds, West Yorkshire!
Tes is currently seeking an ambitious Principal/ Lead Teacher of Science for a well-renowned and high achieving school seeking to expand its successful and friendly Science Department. The school is a medium-sized 11 - 16 Academy catering for a wide range of learning abilities.
The Science Department currently delivers good results across all three Sciences with good uptake within the Sciences when pupils progress to FE and HE.
The role will include coordinating the delivery of Science at KS3 and GCSE, enhancing provision and supporting growth. You will drive improvement within the Mathematics Faculty and will take lead on curriculum and pupil engagement across the school.

- a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT, BEd or MEd with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- experience of delivering Science up to GCSE, pushing and engaging learners to progress within the subject
