ABC Teachers, part of TES, are seeking an experienced PRU Teacher to join a strong and collaborative team of Key Stage 3 teachers at our partner school based in Wolverhampton from September 2020.

About the role:

  • Teaching Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Teaching a range of subjects to small class sizes
  • Dealing with sensitive situations and challenging behaviours 
  • Full time, temporary role, to commence in September 2020

About the school:

  • A school for students with social and behavioural difficulties who are at risk of or who have been excluded from mainstream education
  • Easily accessible from Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley and surrounding areas
  • A creative curriculum is offered with strong support from therapeutic services
  • A strong team ethos with supportive leadership 

About you:

  • Have strong communications skills with the ability to build a strong rapport with students
  • Be suitably qualified to teach i.e. PGCE, BEd, etc.
  • Be a non-judgmental person with a resilient character who can resolve behaviour problems quickly
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
