Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teacher of Psychology and Sociology for an “Outstanding” Catholic school in Redbridge. The department has a fantastic track record of high achievers as well as the sixth form department being one of the best in the country. The school is looking to appoint someone with a steady CV and experience teaching Psychology and Sociology up to KS5. They will not consider an NQT as the role may develop into a leadership position in the near future. The department have two other teachers and a technician.

  • Annual salary of between £26,000 - £39,000 depending on experience

In order to be considered for this role, the Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Proven experience working within the UK (particularly in the subject area of Psychology and Sociology) within the past two years (mandatory) 
  • Able to work with pupils with various behaviour levels
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS / police checks
