Priory Lodge School, Priory Lane, Roehampton, SW15 5JJ

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8.30 - 16.30, 43 weeks per year)

Set in Roehampton and close to Richmond Park, Priory Lodge School is seeking an experienced candidate to join their team as a Pupil Administrator.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess excellent keyboard and PC skills
  • Have good English and numeracy along with exceptional organisation skills
  • Have previous experience within an administrative, customer service or education background.


Priory Lodge was graded GOOD by Ofsted in May 2019 and we aim to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students aged 7-19 who have autism, Asperger’s and associated conditions.

Role responsibilities:-

  • Coordinating and processing central admissions and withdrawals documentation and ensuring parental contact details are up to date
  • Updating pupil records for the school and Post 16 Hub as per the Pupil Records procedure
  • Minute taking for Teachers, annual reviews, placement reviews and any meetings at the discretion of the Principal and Head Teacher. Minutes to be finalised, stored and distributed within an agreed timeframe
  • Responding to external and internal enquiries received via telephone, email or in person on a daily basis. Share sensitive enquiries with the Principal and Head Teacher
  • Assist Administrator in providing efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the school; including document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate.

About Roehampton Gate School

Roehampton Gate School is a purpose-built day school for young people with autistic spectrum disorders, in particular Asperger's Syndrome and associated learning difficulties. It is situated next to the Hospital Roehampton. The school opened in April 2010.

The spacious and modern building has been specifically designed to accommodate up to 40 young people with autistic spectrum disorders and Asperger's Syndrome.

The classrooms are set up for specialist subjects including information technology, art, food technology, science and music, together with exclusive sensory and therapy rooms/suites or studios.

Roehampton Gate School is also uniquely placed to benefit from the extensive therapy and specialist mental health services provided at the Hospital Roehampton. Staff and students will also work closely with the child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS) and experienced educational psychologists
