Job overview

We are seeking to appoint further experienced Pupil Support Officers for the 1st September 2021, to work alongside our current friendly and close knit team to support students who are disaffected with school or who have been permanently excluded.  You could also be required to work in local schools, on a programme to reintegrate students back to school or as part of our Outreach Team supporting students at their current mainstream school.   Previous primary experience is essential of working with students in a supporting role, together with strong behaviour management skills.  It is essential that candidates are Team Teach trained or willing to undertake training.  The post is term time only, 32.5 hours per week and on a contract of 2 years in the first instance.

We are a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs and we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow.  We are proud of our service and we need inspirational, patient trailblazers who believe that every child matters and who will never give up on our amazing pupils.  We need kind-hearted, compassionate people who want to commit to changing lives for the better.
