We currently have a vacancy within our  Teaching Team for a Qualified KS3 Teacher, preferably with experience of  working with students with complex needs.

Although working with predominantly Key Stage 3 students, the role  involves working in a 'Primary model' classroom environment, delivering  core subjects up to a 'pre- GCSE' level. We are seeking an experienced  practitioner who can develop a nurturing enironment that addresses the  needs of a specific group of learners. Group sizes are restricted to 5 -  6 learners, supported by permanent Learning Support Assistants.

This post will suit professional individuals who are prepared to work  flexibly in a vibrant, caring and supportive educational environment.   The successful candidate will be able to develop, plan and deliver the  required level and standard of education to our students through  creative application of professional knowledge and teaching techniques.   Ensuring their own actions and behaviour comply with corporate policy  and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards.

Sheridan School offers an integrated programme of eduction and  therapy for young people with behavioural, emotional and social  difficulties, compounded by complex learning difficulties including  Autism.
