A unique opportunity exists for a talented and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join us.  The Quality Assurance Manager will have responsibility for co-ordinating and managing the College’s quality assurance processes and initiatives with Curriculum Teams, with a strong focus on the student engagement strategy.   

We are looking for someone with a strong track record who can successfully develop and implement a Trafford College Group annual Quality Cycle and ensure cross college quality monitoring and assurance processes, (including Curriculum Self-Assessment, Course Reviews, Curriculum Progress Monitoring, ProMonitor reports (progress and parent reports) Student Engagement and Surveys) are successful at assuring and improving Quality.  

You will also assist the Director of MIS with the development of processes for the capture and maintenance of student data and deliver timely and reliable information in accordance with agreed plans and schedules including reports from across the Groups management information systems.  

You will support the Director of Quality in monitoring and updating the College’s Quality Improvement Plan and will have knowledge and experience of:-  

• Implementing quality assurance processes and monitoring systems. 

• Ensuring that tracking and monitoring of learner progress is robust and that the College can evidence added value. 

• Devloping the capacity and capability of manager’s to support the quality assurance of their own delivery. 

• Identifying and supporting underperforming programmes ensuring that they have robust action plans and are clear about corrective actions. 

• Overseeing and leading on the development, operation and review of awarding body registration.  

Along with knowledge and experience on the above areas, you will have a degree or equivalent qualification a PGCE / Cert Ed / QTS and level 2 in English and Maths or equivalent.
