Queen Victoria School (QVS), a boarding school for the children of service personnel and funded by the Ministry of Defence, is looking to appoint a 0.4 FTE Teacher of Biology. Our school is set in 45 acres of beautiful countryside and offers stability and continuity of education for those who board with us.

The Science Department currently consists of one Principal Teacher and three Teachers.

We require an enthusiastic Teacher of Biology to join the Department on a Thursday & Friday, weekly. Applicants will require a teaching qualification (PGCE, PGDE or BEd) in Biology and able to teach Biology at all SQA stages. They must have a comprehensive knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and possess sound communication and time management skills. Applicants must be both GTC Scotland and PVG registered prior to taking up post.

Salary is based on SNCT Pay Agreements
