Salary: Support Staff Scale Point 25 - £20,458 per annum pro rata

A Raising Standards Advocate is required from September 2018. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to work with 14-16 year old learners as part of a large and successful department within a well-respected, progressive sixth form college. 

The Raising Standards Advocate (RSA) will instill a high culture for learning and monitor progress within the Leggott Academy and have an oversight of each learner’s starting point and track and progress. The RSA will have a good knowledge of Progress and Attainment 8 and analyse each data capture and identify key marginal students. 

A key focus of this role is to improve attendance and retention. As such the RSA will be accountable for all year 10 and year 11 students, attendance and will work closely with the Education Inclusion Team (Local Authority).
