Job overview

A long-standing member of our team is moving to Canada in November.  To replace her, we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented teacher to join the friendly and hard-working team at our exciting and vibrant school. The role is that of a classteacher, but for this academic year, will have a focus on Reading / Phonics Support in Key Stage 1.


You will:

Be committed to high standards and improving achievement for all.


Be dedicated to providing good quality teaching for children of all abilities who are enthusiastic about their learning.


Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with an effective, creative and dedicated staff team to continue to develop high quality teaching and learning.


Be able to work in partnership with enthusiastic and supportive parents, governors and the wider community.



Experience of the Ann Smallberger approach to phonics teaching is desirable, although a successful candidate without this experience will be provided full training.
