Job overview

We are looking to recruit a full-time Reception and General Admin Assistant at Hartshill School.  The post will be for 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

The Role

To be responsible for ensuring that all administration, clerical and financial tasks are produced to a high standard and operating an efficient reception service.  To assist with the planning of school visits and events such as parents evenings, open days etc. Deal with visitors to the Academy in line with MAT policies and procedures. Undertake routine clerical duties including generating documents, filing, data input. Operate standard office equipment including franking machine, fax, photocopiers  - Process telephone calls and ensure appropriate action is taken.

About Hartshill Academy

Hartshill Academy is a secondary academy in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, for pupils aged 11-16.

Hartshill Academy is set in extensive grounds and the catchment covers very diverse urban and rural areas. This is a very exciting time for Hartshill Academy as we prepare for the move to our new building in September 2023. We are very fortunate to be one of the 50 schools chosen nationally as part of this project and we are all looking forward to the new opportunities this will bring.
