Panyathip International School, The British International School in Laos will have a vacancy for suitably qualified Reception Teacher from August 2021.
Vientiane, the capital city, is where we have three age specific (Early Years, Primary and Secondary) purpose built campuses and there is another, but smaller all-through, campus in the Southern city of Savannakhet.
The successful applicant will be based at our Early Years' Campus which is very close to our Primary Campus - and a key part of the role will be liaising with Primary to ensure that the transition from Reception at Early Years to Year 1 on the Primary Campus is well planned and as seamless as possible.
The ideal teacher will be those who have experience of teaching children whose first language may not be English, who understand the importance of differentiation and are willing to contribute to the school outside the classroom. For those who are looking to enhance their own experience, there will be opportunities to help the school develop in a number of areas.
Our students are generally well motivated, almost always well behaved and eager to learn.
If you are interested and excited at the prospect of moving to one of SE Asia's most beautiful and interesting countries in August 2021 we would love to hear from you.
Applicants from all those interested in joining us as well as newly qualified teachers or those who are more experienced and recently retired are welcome.
Panyathip International School is the first and only member of both FOBISIA and COBIS in Laos.
Panyathip International School is committed to child protection, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults.
