The Ridgeway is a nurturing and friendly school situated within a diverse community in South Reading, with enthusiastic, happy pupils who enjoy learning and a committed and highly motivated team.

We are looking for a professional, patient and friendly individual to work in our busy school office, acting as ‘the face’ of The Ridgeway and dealing with pupil, parent/carer and visitor queries in person or on the telephone.

There will be additional administrative tasks to carry out daily, under the direction of the Office Manager.

In order to support this position and to secure excellent outcomes for our families, we can offer ongoing training and professional development.

We are looking for a team-player who:
-  demonstrates a nurturing and inclusive approach to all children and their families;
-  can build positive relationships with children, colleagues, professionals and parents;
-  can maintain a calm, professional manner under pressure;
-  is able to prioritise daily workload and ask for help if required;
-  can work flexibly alongside the admin team and support others when required.
