What we are looking for

  • Welcome all visitors to our school and ensure the school policy for safeguarding is adhered, ensuring completion of visitor badges and monitoring access to restricted areas.
  • Answer the telephone, filter calls and emails, to take messages and make sure they are delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Edit and upload the weekly newsletter.
  • Prepare the school diary and keep it updated and staff informed through a weekly sheet.
  • Support the admin for the SENCo and Co-Headteachers.
  • Maintain the reception area including updating of notice boards and literature.
  • Deal with first aid (including ensuring sufficient first aid supplies).
  • Respond to child enquiries, including late children, requests to leave school during the school day and sick children, referring to the teacher as required.
  • Be willing to assist the Co-Headteachers or Leadership Team as required.
  • Administer medication to children and receive appropriate training as required.
  • To participate in the school’s Continued Professional Development Dialogue (CPDD) process.
  • Keep parents updated with letters and texts in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the management and monitoring of the school website is kept up to date weekly.

The Details

36 hours per week ( Monday - Friday, 8:00 -15:45) 39 weeks per year (Term time)

Salary: £15,485 - £18,152 actual (FTE £18,000 - £21,100 )
