The School Receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the 'face' of the school the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the School in a professional and friendly manner. In addition it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and has a 'can do' approach to work, as no two days are the same.

The Receptionist is a crucial role in the school. The post involves answering calls, dealing with enquiries from parents, teachers and outside bodies in addition to assisting with queries and requests from students. The post will also involve various administrative duties where necessary. The successful candidate will require good communication and inter-personal skills with a willingness to be adaptable to team needs. It is essential that the person for this role presents a professional appearance, is highly organised, willing, adaptable and able to work under pressure.

We would welcome applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate experience of having worked in a pressurised reception environment and have a positive, flexible attitude to their work.
