Receptionist

About the role:  For the attention of Receptionists seeking a great opportunity! Inspiration Academy @ The Leigh UTC have an incredibly exciting time ahead of them; with their new building having opened in April 2018 for our staff and students, we are seeking to appoint a Receptionist to work in these brand new facilities catering for our Key Stage 3 students, taking the lead on all things front-of-house.  Our successful candidate will have experience in a similar capacity, offering the professionalism, proactive nature and positive attitude that this role requires.  The main purpose of the role is to ensure the effective operation of all aspects of the reception remit, supporting a dynamic learning community through effective delivery of administrative services to meet the needs of every stakeholder.  

The hours are Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.30pm and Friday 8.00am-4.00pm (with 1 hour for lunch each day), Term Time + 1 week of inset.   

What are we looking for?  To be suitable for this role, it is desirable that you would have had experience in a similar role.  Reception can be a busy environment so prioritising and keeping calm under pressure are key, in addition to having the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with staff, parents and students – particularly those in Key Stage 3.  Most importantly, you will be the main point of contact for many external and internal contacts for the Academy so professionalism is essential to this role.

The overarching mission of the Inspiration Academy is to develop curious, academically-skilled young people who aspire to be principled, compassionate learners.  Our curriculum strives to create students who are self-motivated, competent, willing to take risks and lifelong learners.
